Guide pride and fun

Nightlife & Vibes: The Beating Heart of Torre del Lago

Ready to experience the night? If you stay at the Rio Grande B&B, you're just a step away from LGBTQ+ nightlife paradise. Here are the two addresses that make Torre del Lago Marina famous throughout Italy (and beyond!).

Mamamia: The Pop Icon

If you say "Torre del Lago," you say Mamamia. It's not just a club, it's an institution. The only rule here is to let yourself go. Imagine sea breeze, ice-cold cocktails and the most addictive music in Versilia.

Why Go:
For legendary drag shows that will make you laugh and scream, and for the super inclusive pop atmosphere.
The Mood: Hands up, sky-high heels and the desire to party mindlessly.

Boca: The Rhythm of the Night

In the mood for a change of sound? Literally take two steps and you're at Boca. It is the more "clubbing" soul of the Marina: less show, more powerful bass. It is the temple for those who love music that gets inside you, from the most sought-after House beats to electronic hits.

Why Go: For quality DJ sets and a young, stylish and super friendly environment.
The Mood: Sought-after drinks, dim lights and dancing until dawn.

💡 The Council from local

The magic of Europa Avenue is that Mamamia and Boca are neighbors! The winning move? Start the night at one to warm up your engines and move to the other when you want a change of pace. You don't have to choose: get the whole package!

Don't worry about distances: from our B&B in Massarosa it takes less than you think.

The commute: By car it's just 10 to 15 minutes. Just enough time to listen to 3 or 4 songs from your favorite playlist and you'll already be parked in front of the fun.
Parking: Point directly to Europa Avenue. Since the clubs are so close, once you leave your car, you can forget about it and walk around safely.

Need a cab back or want info on a shuttle? Just ask us at the front desk before you leave!

Relaxation Break? Discover the Magic of the Lake by Canoe!

After a hot night at Mamamia, do you need to recharge your batteries? Or maybe you're just looking for the perfect angle for a killer sunset selfie?

Lake Massaciuccoli should not just be looked at, it should be sailed! Abandon dry land and hop in a canoe-you'll find yourself gliding silently through the reeds, water lilies and wooden walkways, immersed in surreal peace.
You don't need to be an Olympic athlete: it's a zero-stress experience, suitable for everyone, to enjoy the "Golden Hour" and see nature from a unique (and super romantic) perspective.

Lotus Valley: a corner of Bali in Massarosa

Forget for a moment that you are in Versilia. Just a few minutes from the Rio Grande B&B is a place that looks like something out of an Oriental postcard: it's Italy's largest Lotus Flower cultivation.
Imagine an endless expanse of giant green leaves and huge flowers (white and pink) sprouting from the water. It's not a dream, it's the Via delle Erbe e dei Fiori: a bicycle and pedestrian path immersed in nature that will get your fill of beauty (and likes on social media).

Our tips for the perfect experience:
⏰ Wake up Early! This is the golden rule. Lotus flowers are morning creatures: they open at dawn and "fall asleep" (close) in the early afternoon.
📅 When to go: The show starts in June and lasts until September, but the peak of "wow" is in July.
🚲 How to visit: The route is flat and very easy. You can do it on foot (parking at Bozzano Station) or, even better, by bike.

Not just Lotus! 🌾 Along the way, if you're in the right season, you might also stumble upon super-scented Lavender fields and Eucalyptus crops.
